About

I've helped people use new tech waves before. AI is just the latest.

I started working with AI at Stanford University in the 1980s, where I majored in Artifical Intelligence and Symbolic Systems. At Stanford and later at Ricoh's California Research Center in the early 1990s, I built and trained AI systems directly. In the early 2000s, I worked on an AI system for USC's Institute for Creative Technologies, in collaboration with the U.S. Army, and Paramount Pictures. That long hands-on background is why I understand how these systems behave, where they are strong, where they are weak, and how to work with today's models effectively. Since late 2022, I've used the latest AI models daily in hands-on product development.

Alongside that AI work, I co-founded Neopets (opens in a new tab) and built production systems across multiple industries, including gaming and entertainment, music, finance (stock and bond trading), medical, health and fitness, and industrial software.

Today, I use that background to help people finish AI-built projects that are close but stuck, and turn them into working products.

If your project is close but stuck, I can help you finish it.
